On December 4, 2020, the Guangdong Special Equipment Industry Association organized and presided over the appraisal meeting of the research project "Research on Vacuum Measurement Technology for Periodic Inspection of Vehicle LNG Cylinders" completed by Guangdong Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute in Foshan City . The appraisal committee listened to the report of the project undertaker and reviewed the results appraisal materials. After inquiries and discussions, the appraisal committee believes that the research results of this project have improved the vacuum measurement technology of LNG cylinders for vehicles to reach the domestic advanced level, and they agreed to pass the appraisal.
The project proposed a method of replacing static evaporation rate measurement with vacuum measurement in gas cylinder inspection. Through the vacuum degree-evaporation rate correlation experiment of three specifications of vehicle LNG cylinders, combined with the vacuum degree-evaporation rate correlation experiment carried out in the regular inspection, the cylinder vacuum degree-evaporation rate correlation data was obtained, and the low temperature insulation was determined. Qualified index for the vacuum degree of hot gas cylinders; improved the gas cylinder vacuum device and the reliability of the gas cylinder vacuum device. Project research results have been applied in gas cylinder inspection.
