On December 4, 2020, the Guangdong Special Equipment Industry Association organized and presided over the appraisal meeting of the scientific research project "Research on the Outgassing Law of Thermal Insulation Materials Used in Cryogenic Vessels" completed by Guangdong Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute in Foshan City. The appraisal committee listened to the report of the project undertaker and reviewed the results appraisal materials. After inquiries and discussions, the appraisal committee believes that the research results of this project have improved the research technology of thermal insulation materials for cryogenic vessels and reached the domestic leading level, and they agreed to pass the appraisal.
Research on the outgassing law of insulation materials for cryogenic vessels. Starting from the material outgassing test method and material outgassing model, the relationship between surface morphology, vacuum degree, temperature, and different gas atmospheres is studied to influence the outgassing rate of low-temperature insulation materials. Factors, get the change rule of outgassing rate and outgassing composition under different influencing conditions: (1) The outgassing rate of the sample increases with increasing temperature; (2) The outgassing rate of sample decreases with increasing pressure (3) The outgassing rate under nitrogen and carbon dioxide atmosphere is greater than that in natural atmosphere; (4) The larger the surface roughness of the sample, the greater the outgassing rate. The research results of the project have been promoted and applied.
